Sporting and nautical games that take place in Pimentel. Adventure sports, dances and parties at night.
Contests in "Caballitos de Totora" (reed boats). Delegations of many beach resorts and ports of Peru participate.
San Pedro & San Pablo - Patron saints of fishermen and farmers

On the coast, fishing communities have chosen Saint Peter as their patron saint, and render him homage in San José, located 13 Km north of the city of Chiclayo. The ceremony is held by the mouth of the Lambayeque River, where legend has it the founding god Naylamp landed on Peruvian shores. The figure of the saint is borne aloft amidst burning incense, prayers and hymns down to the sea where it boards a fishing launch and is taken around the bay to bless the waters in the hope of a good fishing season.

Feast "Cruz de Chalpón" (Cross of Chalpon)

Celebrated in Motupe ."La Cruz de Chalpón" (name of a mountain very close to Motupe), was found in 1868 in a cave where the hermit Juan Abad inhabited. Since then many miracle facts had been attributed to this cross: thousands of people from many places congregate to celebrate its festivity. Each year celebrate a great festival that joins a lot of pilgrims in Motupe from all the country.
