El Grial is a relatively new 2 star hostel, functioning since June 1998.
Before its opening, the building has been renovated for 3 years (1995-1998) to
restore it to its original colonial style, using original materials like adobe (clay
stones) and wood, giving it the warm and natural atmosphere.
It is a place where you can find yourself. This is also implied by its name, El
Grial or Holy Grail, looked for by many people.
Staying in El Grial is more than having just a comfortable room. It is also
forming part of a family whose members are Yedira, Fernando and their daughter
Angela (born in March 2000), the other staff of the hostel and its guests.
All are offering their affection to make everybody feel at home. Apart from
Spanish, Yedira and Fernando also speak English and French.
Other Services
We have all the information and means necessary to organize the best excursions
and help you if you would like to organize it by yourself.
Apart from all the other attractions, the hostel also has a balcony with a
panoramic view over the city, a television room with video and cable and rooms
with or without private bathroom. Other services are our cafeteria, laundry
service, bar, 24 hours hot water a day, fax, telephone, free safety box and
luggage storage, a book exchange and the best prices in town.
We also offer our services for private Spanish classes and esoteric tours to
the energy zones of the Incas.
