hotel. We are located in the majestic and beautiful Valley Colca. “El Refugio”
is bordered by mountains that acts like a retreat and it is situated at the edge
of the Colca River that the rainbow trout calls home.

portable heating unit for your convenience.
Restaurant: El Refugio has a restaurant that offers a spectacular panoramic
view and a variety of exceptional gastronomic plates. The range of dishes are
made up of Peruvian foods, novandina and international foods that are made from
basic regional ingredients from which our experienced and specialized chefs will
prepare dishes pleasing to your palate.
Bar: The bar offers a select variety of the best liquors, beverage and
cocktails that you can enjoy in the company of our piano and at the same time
take in the splendorous natural landscape around you.
Fishing: Our advantaged location on the river Colca lets our visitors catch
rainbow trout along with our hotel personal. You can enjoy pleasurable moments
realizing this activity.
Thermal Baths: A special feature of the hotel is its natural thermal bath
that has a temperature that oscillates between 35ºC and 40ºC. Its mineral
properties makes this place a hospitable location for those who want to relax,

nature.
The diverseness of our landscapes permits our visitors to stroll around the
hotel. We have a short route where you can visit ruprestian paintings situated
about 492 feet (150 m) from the hotel. There are also two medium routes from
which you can visit ancient Andean settlements like the town of Uyu Uyu and
Uskayllacta. While strolling about the walkways you can enjoy the beautiful
landscape and always be in “contact with nature.”
