The Lodge
The Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge is located right on the top of the mountain, a
couple of seconds from the actual ruins themselves and thus enjoys the prime
position within the Sanctuary. Here you can feel the presence of the past even
as you are pampered with every luxury and modern comfort that is associated with
an Orient-Express Hotel.

Reflecting the casual, intimate atmosphere of a home away from home, the
Lodge has 31 rooms and one suite, bar, restaurant, self service outlet and
cliffhanging snack bar, with one of the best views of the Sacred Mountain.

In keeping with the spectacular surroundings, the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge
has a "green" policy in order to preserve the beauty of this unique
environment.
How to get there
A 3 hours train journey from Cusco will take you to
the colorful Machu Picchu town (Aguas Calientes). There you will board a bus for 30 minutes
drive up the mountain to the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge and the ruins.
All rates include 1 buffet breakfast, 1 lunch and 1 dinner a la carte per
person (no beverages).
