DAY 01: Lima /
Cuzco /
Machu Picchu / Cuzco (L)
- Early departure to Cuzco (first flight 05:50 or 06:00 AM).
- Arrival in Cuzco, meeting assistance at the airport and transfer to the Ollantaytambo
Train
Station (around one hour and a half from Cuzco).
- Departure by train to Machu Picchu.
- Arrival at Machu Picchu Town (Aguas Calientes) and transfer by
minibus up to the Machu Picchu citadel.
- Guided visit to the Lost City of the Incas.
- Buffet
lunch at
Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge
- Return by train to Cuzco.
- Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
DAY 02 Cuzco / Puno (B-L)
- Breakfast at the hotel
- Transfer to the bus station.
- Bus journey from Cuzco to Puno. On route visit to
Andahuaylillas,
Raqchi, Sicuani, La Raya and
Pucara.
- Lunch on route.
- Arrival in Puno, meeting
assistance and transfer to your hotel in Puno
- Rest of the day at leisure.
DAY 03 Puno / Lima (B)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Morning tour to Lake Titicaca and the
Floating Islands of the Uros, located to 10 kilometers in
front of the port of Puno. Their inhabitants live on reed islands, and are
skilled fishermen, taxidermists, and artisans.
- Afternoon: Transfer to the airport to board your domestic flight to Lima.
- In
route guided visit to the
Chullpas of Sillustani, located to 28
Km of Puno,
circular towers that served in the pre-Inca time like tombs to characters of the
nobility.
