Early in the morning, pick up from your hotel in
Lima.
We leave Lima and we take the Northern Pan-American highway until we arrive
at Km. 182 (It takes approximately 3 hours to get there). We leave the highway
and take a dirt road that crosses canals and little rivers. You see plantations
that are characteristic of the area. You also see typical flora and fauna.
Turtupilines grow there in abundance.
Arrival to the city of Caral. Guided tour inside the
city, where you will appreciate the macroscopic images of the place. An
archaeologist will be our guide. He’ll explain the 6 monumental pyramids to us
in detail. In two of those pyramids you can appreciate the architectural
distribution of the first civilization of Peru and of America. These
constructions have an amphitheater, a circular platform where offerings were
made, central squares, residential areas, and religious centers.
In the afternoon, return to Lima. Arrival in Lima and transfer to the hotel.
