DAY 1: ....... / CHICLAYO
- In Lima, transportation to airport or bus terminal to travel to the city of
Chiclayo.
- Reception and welcome and transportation to chosen hotel.
- Overnight stay at the selected hotel.
DAY 2: CHICLAYO /
PYRAMIDS OF TUCUME / LAMABAYEQUE / CHICLAYO (B)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Departure to the Pyramids of Túcume to
visit the archeological complex, remarkable for the pyramids and terraces
enclosing the Magic Mountain, traditionally called Purgatory or “la Raya”. You can see between 24 or 26
pyramids, among them the Huaca las Estacas and the
Mirador.
- We will later go to Lambayeque to visit the new and magnificent
the Museum of the Royal Tombs of Sipán with 10 display
rooms where you can see the treasures of El Señor de Sipán (The Lord of Sipan) and a great collection of gold, silver and
copper objects from ancestral cultures.
- On our way back, we will see the San Pedro church, with the longest balcony
in Peru (La Casa de la Logia), the Main Square and the Sweet Shops in
Lambayeque.
- Return to Chiclayo.
- Overnight stay at the chosen hotel in Chiclayo.
DAY 3: CHICLAYO / ........ (B)
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- We will go to Huaca Rajada, where a
complete tomb of an elite member, El Señor
de Sipan was found. The elaborated ornaments and the technological
development of gold and silver smithing make it the most important discovery
of last century. We will visit the small on-site museum and some exploration
excavations.
- Return to Chiclayo.
- Transportation to airport or bus terminal to travel back to Lima.
- In Lima, welcome and transportation to hotel.
