Daily departures
DAY 01: ..... ( LIMA) /
CHICLAYO
- Arrival in Chiclayo and transfer to your selected hotel.
- Visit Sipán, the place is denominated by the
Huaca Rajada
area. There the remains and tomb of a dignitary from the Mochica, symbols of
a war priest known as “El
Señor de Sipán” (The Lord of Sipan)
- Then visit Royal Tombs of Sipán Museum
in Lambayeque city.
- Return to the hotel and accommodation
DAY 02: CHICLAYO / TRUJILLO (B)
- Departure by private car to Trujillo city.
- Arrival and transfer to the selected hotel.
- Visit Chan Chan
(Archaeological World Heritage Site). It is considered as the largest
Pre-Columbian mud in the Americas. It was developed in an area of 20 square
kilometers. The city was built from earth done in adobe, and using a sun
drying technique.
- Then visit the
Huaca del Dragón, It is believed that the temple was dedicated to the
rainbow. You can also observe the figure of a warrior dancing and that of a
dragon. There is also a museum on the site.
- Finally, visit
Huanchaco's beach, it is visited by many tourists because they can see
how the villagers use famous "caballitos de totora" merry-go-round shaped
reed boats to fish in a manner that has been done for centuries, even in
Pre-Inca and Pre-Columbian times.
- Return to the hotel and accommodation.
DAY 03: TRUJILLO / LIMA (B)
- City Tour to
Trujillo historical center: Visit to the Plaza de Armas, which is
surrounded large houses and mansions from the colonial and early republican
period; the Cathedral, the Casa Bracamonte; the
Casa de Urquiaga; the Museo Cassinelli, where you can see collections of
ceramics, musical instruments, gold work of the Mochica, Chimú and Virú
Cultures.
- At a proper time transfer to the airport to board your flight back to
Lima.
