We had a very nice vacation in Peru and found the
people friendly and all the hotels/hostels we stayed
in very good and clean. With regard to your
services, we found these to be excellent and
efficient and the couple of problems we had were
quickly resolved. Apart from that our daughter and
her partner took us round and we thoroughly enjoyed
ourselves and would certainly come again and use
your services.

Dear Monica, it seems ages now that we went to Peru
- and we never regretted to go there. First of all,
all bookings with Go2Peru went perfectly well. Thank
you. It had been a great help to us to have arranged
some things from Germany in front of our journey. As
it was the first time we traveled out of Europe it
gave us a sort of security.
Coming to Peru was a sort of cultural shock. The
traffic was terribly compared with Germany where
everybody keeps to rules and drives very carefully
for the many new and expensive cars. But we got used
to it and we never saw an accident! In Lima we
managed to understand the system of the
"Collectivos" and had a lot of fun with them.
By the way, we tried to travel with the normal
busses, not with the tourist busses. We had only
good experiences! (Also with tourist busses).
People were very nice and friendly and even as we
couldn't speak much Spanish we managed very well. In
the tourist places its was no problem at all.
Of course we visited the usual sightseeing's and
enjoyed them very much. But the Inca-Trail its
overbooked (we use to do al lot of Mountain-walking
in the Alpes and we thought it was absolutely
overcrowded even though we were there at a time
where there were not too many tourist. We would
never go the trail again. Machu Picchu was o.k. We
also did the Santa Cruz Trek near Huaraz, this was
very nice. The guides on both treks were very good
and friendly and could tell us al lot about the
country. Super! We didn't like the cities,
especially Lima. We liked Arequipa very much.
Well, we decided to come back to Peru some time
for we liked it very much. We then will do more
mountain walking and by then we will be able to
speak Spanish so that we can talk to the native
people.
One thing we hated most was, that as soon as you
arrive in some place, taxi drivers and people who
want to sell journeys sort of hunt you. You have no
choice of first looking around on your own, they
really hunt you! But still, we decided to come back.
Lots of greetings from Germany
