Dear Mr. Mazzotti
For the past ten days I have been using your
website for organizing my trip to see your beautiful
country - Peru.
Monica has been booking and confirming
reservations for flights/tours etc on a daily basis.
She is totally efficient, reliable and polite. She
has answered my every question and made things very
easy for me. She is to be commended!
Before finding Go2Peru I had tried other sites but
many did not reply at all or when they did reply it
was not very helpful - Monica always replies
immediately!
If it were left to me I would give her a week off
work (paid of course!) to say Thank You but then
where would we be if Monica is not there to answer
our emails!!!
I apologize for writing in English but I have no
Spanish except:-
Muchas Gracias - and I cannot wait to see your
country
Kind Regards
Gillian Hayes - (United Kingdom)
PS. Go2Peru does not have an entry in The Lonely
Planet or The Insight Guide is it possible to
ask Marketing to contact them to get an entry
into these travel guides? Because you really are
the best.

Our holiday in Southern Peru was a wonderful
experience. “Go2Peru” had a tour which included all
the areas which we most wanted to visit. From
arrival at Lima as complete strangers we received a
friendly welcome from all our escorts and guides.
All the usual hassle of how to get from airport to
hotel, hotel to station, or whatever, was taken care
of, and we also had plenty of time to spend as we
wished.
The tour was cleverly planned so that we
experienced no problem in acclimatizing to the
higher altitudes. After Lima we spent two days in
Arequipa before proceeding to Cusco, at a yet higher
altitude, and at the heart of Inca history and
culture. From here, visits to the Sacred Valley and
Machu Picchu were experiences not to be missed.
“Go2Peru” were very helpful in arranging for us to
spend two days at Machu Picchu. The basic tour
assumed that visitors will only want to spend one
day there, but one day is not really enough to
explore and enjoy the atmosphere of this wonder of
the Inca world.
On our holidays we like to get a feel for the way
of life of the people. One way was by talking with
our guides on the “scenic tours”. The day-long
journey by coach from Cusco to Puno (by Lake
Titicaca) proved to be a special such “tour”. The
journey, apart from seeing all the changes in
scenery and nature of the countryside, was
punctuated with stops at interesting centres of Inca
history and villages, including a pleasant stop for
a restaurant lunch.
Our two day visit to the Lake Titicaca area proved
to be most relaxing, with an all day visit to the
Uros floating reed islands and on to Taquile Island,
which has a charming atmosphere not unlike that of a
Greek Island in the Mediterranean, but at 12,000
feet above sea-level. We were particularly pleased
to visit the S. S. Yavari, famously built in London
and transported in parts for assembly on Lake
Titicaca. Then there was a half day visit to the
necropolis at Sillustani, where we were able to
enjoy the peace and tranquility by Lake Umayo, as
well as meet some children on a school visit to the
site.
To complete our visit we were taken on a half day
tour of the main centres and buildings of interest
in Lima. We greatly enjoyed this tour of Southern
Peru, with its well balanced mixture of history,
culture, opportunities for seeing natural and
man-made wonders, and time for relaxation. The
organizational arrangements made by “Go2Peru” were
so good that we felt we were experiencing our own
personal tour.

What should I say about our trip to Peru - in one
word it was fabulous. The journey around the country
with all its sites was very impressive. The people
couldn't have been more helpful or more friendly as
they were. People really took care about us. For
example, when we arrived late at night in Juliaca,
the bus driver didn't continue his journey before we
were sitting safe in in a taxi which he organized
himself to make sure that we were in the right
hands. There was an experience in Lima when the
tour-guide took me inside the bullring because the
area around there was - to say it mildly - not very
encouraging and safe. In Lima, Cusco, Arequipa as
well as in other places where we participated in
several excursions we were treated and looked after
very well. The time of year was just right for us.
It wasn't too hot or cold and with only one day of
rain in Cusco we certainly can't complain.
The services of Go2Peru worked out to our full
satisfaction. The hotels were excellent, especially
the one in Cusco. Everything worked to perfection -
booking, cleanliness, meals, payments, everything.
In a nutshell :
- was it as we imagined it? Yes, it exceeded all
our imagination.
- how did we feel about your people? Excellent.
Very helpful and very friendly.
- services of iGo2Peru? Very reliable and honest.
What we agreed
- we got, even better than we thought. Should we
go back to Peru (or South America), yes we certainly
will contact Go2Peru again.
- other comments? For me and my wife Monika - it
was a holiday of a lifetime - only too short ! Kind
regards.

Monica, I had an incredible trip in Peru. It was an
experience I will never forget. I will say what I
saw was not what I had imagined Peru would be like.
I was not expecting to see a desert. My trip from
Lima to Ica / Nasca was an experience. I saw so much
that I have never seen before in my travels. Hotel
Mossone was nice, great location and their food was
really good. I also enjoyed the Lima City tour. I
will be visiting again for sure. Thanks for your
help.

Acabo de regresar a la oficina esta semana. My hija
Gracias a usted, y Monica. La
oficina de UNICEF en Peru ya ha recibido mi
recomendacion con respeto a su servicio. Saludos.
