Hiram Bingham Deluxe Train - (Itineraries and fares)

The Hiram Bingham carries passengers on a spectacular journey through changing landscapes, passing lush fields, colourful villages and the wonderful vistas of the beautiful Andes.

Departuring from Poroy Station (20 minutes from Cuzco city) the Hiram Bingham gives a more leisurely start to the day than traditional departures. Brunch is served on board and guides are present to explain points of interest en route, as well as in the Machu Picchu Inca Citadel.

Afternoon Tea is served at the Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, located just steps from the ancient citadel. Once back on board, pre-dinner cocktails are served, accompanied by live entertainment and a 4-course gastronomic menu (more information ....)

This is why PeruRail has created the only Backpacker service that leaves from Poroy, just 20 minutes from downtown Cuzco, so the traveler can start the adventure as soon as possible.

The Backpacker service is designed for the comfort of the passenger with for passenger seats facing each other, so they can share the experience. For that faithfull backpack we have racks placed above the seats.

First class service that covers the route from Ollantaytambo (Sacred Valley of the Incas) to Machu Picchu, it is the best option to exit the Sacred Valley because of the multiple schedules available for the tourist allowing them to arrange their best itinerary.

Its coaches are totally covered by panoramic windows so that the tourist does not miss any detail of the journey allowing them to take pictures of sensational and unique landscapes and catch long living memories.

The Vistadome Valley has a distinct service on board, the tourist summerges and senses the Andean culture through its music, show on board and snacks prepared with products from the area.
 

Backpacker Cerrojo Train (Itineraries and fares)

PeruRail offers the adventurous traveler who moves at his own pace The Backpacker Cerrojo. This service is ideal for a practical person that wants to make a short, comfortable trip from the Valley and want to arrive recharged with energy to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu.

The Backpacker Cerrojo service has multiple arrival and departure times to the traveler can choose when to travel to the Machu Picchu and experience it on its own schedule. The traveler can enjoy its trip in the morning, afternoon or evening.

Andean Explorer Train - (Itineraries and fares)

This spectacular rail journey begins in historic Cuzco and travels south to the beautiful city of Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca.

On the journey the train makes a gentle climb to higher, and cooler, altitudes. The first half of the journey is dominated by the magnificent Andean mountains which tower over the deep valleys of the meandering Huatanay River. It then reaches the gentler, rolling Andean Plains, where vicuña and alpaca can be seen. If travelling aboard the Andean Explorer, the glass-walled observation car provides the perfect opportunity to view the beautiful scenery.

The journey is broken by a scenic stop at La Raya, which is also the highest point on the route. (more information ....)
