DAY I: IQUITOS/LODGE
We start our adventure through the Peruvian jungle at the airport in the city of Iquitos, then we will move to the town of Nauta, the first town founded by the Spaniards on the banks of the Maranon river; the trip takes about 1.30 h. with a distance of 97 km.
In Nauta SapiSapi visit the lagoon (water surface), where species such as the paiche (the world's largest freshwater fish), arawana, turtles (taricaya, charapa), a brief description of the Centennial Plaza and there are preserved take boats Pacaya Samiria then continue the journey to the Lodge, where we give a warm welcome a descendant of the KukamaKukamiria culture and we can also enjoy a fruit drink station, from there we were invited to go to our cabins to leave the luggage and then have lunch.
In the afternoon we will walk interpretation of flora and fauna in Restinga forest surrounding the Lodge, return by night tour to try to locate the demdrobates tiny frogs characterized by their bright colors and poisonous peculiarity, some of the species and the famous due to change colors experienced during the day and at night. Back to the lodge where we will have time for personal hygiene, dinner and overnight.
DAY II: PACAYA SAMIRIA NATIONAL RESERVE/LODGE
After breakfast we go to the Pacaya Samiria National Reserve, with cold lunch on board, Nauta Caño zone where we register and the entrance to the reserve.
On our visit we will hike in search of pink and gray by the creek of the same name dolphins, also we will be in contact with the vast variety of flora and fauna that the reserve offers.
The first thing that catches our attention is the river so faithfully reflecting the sky, clouds, vegetation from the banks and the big trees, the visitor has the sensation of traveling between mirrors, so Pacaya Samiria is also known as "the forest of mirrors".
Also a walk of interpretation of flooded forests, where we will try to see some primates and sloths, during the journey we can identify birds and a variety of traditional fishing practice with the material used by the Amazonian man for subsistence.
Immediately after the Full Day in the Reserve return to the lodge, to visit the craft center of women in the community of San Jorge, known for his work in natural fiber (Chambira) and Wingo or pumpkin carving.
Dinner and post it at an appropriate time the guide invited us into another room to share myths and legends of the Peruvian Amazon.
DAY III: VISIT 20 DE ENERO RNPS /IQUITOS
After breakfast we bound community on January 20 RNPS to appreciate the different jobs held by local residents organized as groups of natural resource management to preserve species RN, there activities to be conducted as aguaje scaling, boating and artisanal fisheries, return midway through the half day for lunch at the lodge, after this free time for personal hygiene and arrangement of luggage to take the same route back to the city of Iquitos.
• The last day includes lunch, depending on the departure flight time. If there is no time for lunch before the flight, there will be no discount or reimbursement.
