Day 01 - Cusco

  • Reception upon arrival and transfer to your specified  hotel. There,  you will have an opportunity to drink coca tea. Then,  the rest of the morning is free time to rest and to acclimate to the high altitudes of the city of Cusco. That afternoon is set aside for a tour of the impressive city of the ancient Incan empire. Your tour will begin at the wonderful Korikancha Temple (known as the Temple of the Sun), where you will see the massive stonework that was achieved by the Incas. Next stop  is the Main Square (Plaza de las Armas) for a tour of the main cathedral and Church of Jesus Company.
  • After touring the center of the city, you will be taken to visit the impressive fortress of Sajsayhuaman, as well as the nearby ruins as the water sources called Tambomachay, Kenko, and Puka Pukara.

Day 02 - Cusco/Sacred Valley of the Incas

  • You will be escorted to the "Sacred Valley of the Incas" where you will visit the picturesque Pisac Indian Market in which natives make their commercial transactions just like their ancestors did.
  • Afterwards, the tour will bring you to Ollantaytambo, one of the most monumental architectural complexes of the ancient Inca Empire. It is one of the few places where the Spanish conquistadors lost a major battle. Very well known for its agricultural terraces cut into the surrounding cliffs, Ollantaytambo is known for having been a highly effective fortress, which also served as a temple. In this place are a living culture well organized by the Incas.

Day 03 - Machu Picchu

  • There will be a very early transfer to the train station. The train will carry you on a beautiful route to the village below the archaeological site "Machu Picchu." Upon your arrival in Machu Picchu Town or Aguas Calientes, you will be driven to the archeological site and your Machu Picchu tour is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. A professional guide will give you all the information on the history and culture of this mysterious and enchanting place.  You will have some free time for take pictures and walk around. In the afternoon, you will descend to Aguas Calientes for lunch. Then take the train to return to Cusco.

Day 04 - Cusco/Lima
