Archaelogical Places of Tarma
The archaeological site Tarmatambo is located in the province of Tarma - Junín, Peru, Tarma community. The site was declared a National Cultural heritage. It was an important religious centre where was seat Lima e Ychma culture. Archaeological area is formed by a set of structures for pyramid and rectangular built with Earth.
Ruins of Yanamarca (voz quechua: pueblo negro)
These ruins are in the Acobamba District 4 000 masl, at the Pumampi Summit. The city pre-inca, Yanamarca "Black people", means this completely walled, made of stones blackish on different floors.
Ruins of Ancashmarca
It is located to the North West of the city of Tarma, is one of pre Inca with buildings from several floors and battlements with ornacinas and windows. The ancient man inhabit this place and let pre-ceramic objects and various rock art petroglyphs.
