Pucallpa City
Its foundation as colonizing native settlement is attributed to October 1888 under the name of New Oran and from 1950 began its development as settler population after the construction of the Federico Basadre road leading to the city of Tingo Maria and Huanuco and then connects with the city of Lima. Currently it is the city with the highest population growth of the Peruvian Amazon and modern buildings in the town center. The means of transportation is the motorcycle taxi, there are few taxis in the city.
In the main square there is an obelisk geometric lines, the ornamental fountain, amphitheater and busts erected in memory of the founders and pioneers of the city. Leading the Town Hall which was built in June of 2001 and highlight its transparent polycarbonate dome and panoramic terrace overlooking the Plaza de Armas is located. It also has an art gallery.
