The old Bethlemite hospital of Our Lady of
Mercy dates back to the 18th century. It
was organized into two major sectors: the
Men's Hospital and the Women's Hospital
currently separated by a street. The
Monumental Complex of Belen has an Art
Gallery featuring works by local artists
and Ethnographical Museum which displays a
collection of typical dresses,
agricultural and musical instruments, and
